How can I find out about my pension?

  • The National Pension Fund can  help you with any questions you have concerning your pension credits and dates.  They can be reached at 877-233-5673. 

How can I get involved in my Local Union?

  •  Start by attending monthly meetings.  Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month.  

How long does it usually take to receive my Union Book?

  • Once a member's initiation fee is paid in full, a new member's packet will be mailed to the member and a book will be ordered.  It usually takes 6 to 8 weeks to receive your card in the mail.

How do I contact Health and Welfare?

  • Health and Welfare can answer your questions concerning insurance claims and benefits.  They can be reached at 866-755-6400

What does my Local Union do?

Here are some of the responsibilities of your Local Union:

  • Enforces rights under the "Collective Bargaining Agreement" which is a contract determining wages, hours and other working conditions of employment through direct negotiations between the Local union representatives and the employer. The collective bargaining agreement is a written contract which covers all the employees in the bargaining unit.

  • Assists members in finding construction employment through its referral services or hiring hall. 

  • Provides apprenticeship and training programs, offering members the opportunity to develop and improve skills needed to obtain-and to retain- employment in an ever more complex and demanding working world. 

  • Promotes jobsite safety as guaranteed under OSHA.
